OUR MISSION STATEMENT
“Providing all students, staff, and faculty a safe, caring community that will nurture their intellectual and spiritual growth.”
You're invited...
This Wednesday night
February 1st
8:00 pm
MCC (student union)
We will be watching Catholic nun Joan Chittister's presentation,
"Why I'm Still A Christian".
A quote from Joan Chittister
"I do not believe that just because you are opposed to abortion, that that makes you pro-life. In fact, I think in many cases, your morality is deeply lacking if all you want is a child born but not a child fed, a child educated, a child housed. And why would I think that you don't? Because you don't want any tax money to go there. That's not pro-life. That's pro-birth. We need a much broader conversation on what the morality of pro-life is."
Every Wednesday night, we meet as a club at Cameron University's McMahon Centennial Complex (MCC).
7:30 pm: Food & Fellowship
8:00 pm: We discuss an array of topics including social justice, inclusion, and religion in today's world.
We invite any and all who are interested to come and share thoughts and ideas in a safe environment.
Every 3rd Saturday, our board of directors meets to plan events and strategies to keep CCM relevant and influential on the college campus.
