What is Cameron Campus Ministry?

At Cameron Campus Ministry, nine denominations celebrate 39 years (with a big celebration planned for the 40th year in 2008), have made a covenant together to support the program of Campus Ministry. Catholic, Christian (Disciples), Episcopal, Lutheran, National Baptist, Presbyterian, United Church of Christ, United Methodist and the Unitarian Universalist congregations in Lawton, as well as, Church Women United and Wesley Foundation of Lawton are the organizing institutions for CCM. Students, faculty, and staff are assisted in their formation of Christian values and in their development of vital, healthy, spiritual lives that integrate Christian faith with active witness. Today's students are faced with choosing the vocational, social, ethical, or personal opportunities that set the course of their future. The campus ministry's listening, responding, and walking through the meaning, hopes, and challenges of their journey supports these students and helps build the future. Learn more
